 FAQs

  • Sports massage is a massage that treats muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. It can help with injuries, muscle tightness and postural issues.

  • I help people who are tired of living with pain and want to move properly again.

    Most of my clients are:

    • Desk workers with ongoing back and neck pain
    • Active people (gym, running, sports) needing recovery or injury support
    • People dealing with recurring tightness or long-term niggles
    • Anyone who wants to feel less stiff, more mobile, and pain-free day to day

    • Pain relief,

    • Improved flexibility,

    • Injury prevention,

    • Enhanced performance,

    • Reduced recovery time,

    • Improved circulation,

    • Stress & tension relief,

    • Enhanced health & wellbeing.

  • Mild soreness/tension: 1 session once every 4 weeks.

Moderate issues or persistent tension: 2 sessions every 4 weeks.

Injury recovery: weekly sessions for 4 - 6 weeks.

Maintenance & performance: 1 session weekly or one session monthly depending on your personal goals.

Through experience, I have found 3 weekly sessions can make the initial difference you need then monthly sessions to keep up with maintaining a healthy body and keeping you moving.

  • Sports massage can be uncomfortable but shouldn’t be unbearable. You should have the ability to breath through and relax into the tough spots.

Sports massage targets restricted tissue and deep muscles so you might feel:

    • Pressure or “good pain” on tight spots.

    • Tenderness in certain areas.

    • Mild soreness afterward (like after a workout).

Afterwards, it’s normal to feel a bit sore for 24–48 hours, but also looser and more mobile.

  • For the consultation, loose fitting, shorts or leggings and t shirt are fine.
During the massage, your body will be covered by a towel or sarong. Most people wear their underwear but the most important thing is that you are comfortable.
